Pre-extraction Gel

A foaming gel to soften and prepare the skin prior to comedone extractions. Botanical extracts effectively aid saponification, soften follicle impactions, and loosen hardened sebum.

Skin type/condition: Oily, congested skin or skin requiring comedone extractions.

Benefits: This stable foam stays where applied making it ideal to be used with steam. Skin softening formulation ensures impaction plugs are loosened and softened ready for effective and comfortable extractions.
Gentle formulation is suitable for skin which experiences sensitivity.  May be used with galvanic desincrustation or ultrasonic degongesting on the negative (-) polarity for enhanced sebum softening.

Key ingredients: Cocamidopropyl Betaine softens solidified sebum deposits allowing for easier extractions.
Essential oils of Lavender, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang and Cedarwood impart deeply purifying properties to further soften and refine the skin in anticipation of successful comedone extraction.

Salon use: Dispense Pre-extraction Gel into a bowl and add a small
amount of water, whisk vigorously into a rich foam consistency using a fan brush. Apply a thick layer of product to congested areas where extractions are required, using a dabbing action to maintain the foam, rather than ‘painting’ it on to the skin.

Manual option – for optimum skin softening we recommend to use with steam for 5-10 minutes.

Electrical option – use with galvanic current or ultrasonic clarifying on the negative (-) polarity for 4-6 minutes.

Remove thoroughly from the skin and continue with appropriate extraction technique. Upon completion of extractions, apply Post-extraction Solution over area to soothe and clean any open follicles.
Salon application: 1-2 pumps (1.5 – 3 ml)

Phenoxyethanol, Sodium hydroxide, Linalool, Citral, Sodium Benzoate.
